Full Decontamination

This entry-level detailing service is designed to meticulously deep clean the exterior of the vehicle and protect all visual surfaces against the elements. The difference a 'full body decontamination alone can make can be remarkable.

Decontamination is the process of removing bonded foreign particles from the surface of your vehicle, these particles can be in the form of road tar, iron deposits, tree sap, iron fallout, rusty specs, bird grime and any other industrial or natural contaminant that cannot be removed through the normal wash process.

Even if you are an avid car cleaner contamination can affect your vehicles surface and no matter how much you shampoo your car it will lose its smoothness and clarity, which in turn means that the paint becomes dull and no matter what products you add it will not improve. Depending on how long these contaminates have been on the car will equate to how rough it is to touch

Vehicle will be hand polished to get rid of minor clear coat scratches/swirls and bring back some level of gloss

There is no machine polishing or clay bar involved. Using a clay bar will likely induce marring on the paint which would require machine polish correction, however both of these steps are included in our Stage 1 - Enhancement Detail

Pre-detail Inspection is carried out taking note of any damage found on the car prior to any work.

Exterior

Alloys and tires cleaned with a pH neutral wheel cleaner/ degreaser
Wheel arches, calipers, door/boot shuts and wheels brush cleaned with citrus degreaser
Vehicle is pre rinsed with a ‘Snow Foam’, that safely loosens surface dirt
Intricate details on the car are agitated with soft brushes and all purpose cleaner
Any chrome will be treated with Acid Rain and Mineral/limescale remover
Vehicle washed using a microfibre wash mitt and 2 buckets with pH-neutral shampoo
Bonded iron contaminants removed from paint using a dedicated fallout remover.
Bonded tar contaminants removed using tar remover.
Second Pre-wash to ensure all products used so far are fully removed
Vehicle dried with a ‘Deep pile’ microfibre towel and all excess water is air blown.
Paint cleansed and wiped down in preparation for protection, allowing total bonding with the paintwork.
Paint polish is applied by hand to bring back a shine.
Paint cleansed and wiped down in preparation for protection, allowing total bonding with the paintwork.
Windows and mirrors are cleaned and protected.
High quality karnuba Wax sealant applied, ultra hydrophobic with an impressive durability of 6-8 months. or Ceramic coating top up or a full ceramic add on
Plastics and rubber protected to avoid fading.
Final wipe down using a gloss-enhancing detailing spray.

Wheels:

Wheels washed front and back using an pH neutral wheel cleaner/degreaser and soft brushes, safe for any finish.
Bonded tar contaminants removed
Bonded iron contaminants removed
Wheels are maintained with a high quality sealant
Tyre dressing applied giving a high gloss finish
